Each year we help educators bring real Florida into their classrooms, homeschools, scout groups, and volunteer organizations by providing professional enrichment, curriculum connections, and resources.

Want to Learn, Get Component Hrs & Have Fun?
​​SPAS Teacher Ecology Camp Workshops are Free to Formal and Informal Educators
  • ​Full scholarships are available for all Florida educators (formal and informal). ​
  • ​Camp is for teachers and informal educators, such as nature center docents, scout leaders, park rangers, ecotour operators, homeschool parents, etc. 
  • Pinellas County teachers receive component points for each workshop.
  • Not a Pinellas County teacher? Ask your district to offer component points too! 
  • New topics and discussions for each workshop each year
  • Sensing Nature's biologists/educators Jeanne Murphy & Brian Lane facilitate and help instruct all workshops​
